Debido a la alta demanda de intercambios en nuestro centro, además de las movilidades subvencionadas a través del programa Erasmus+, se decidió organizar actividades no subvencionadas en colaboración con otros países. Los distintos departamentos coordinan intercambios lingüísticos y culturales con centros educativos europeos, en los cuales el alumnado asume los gastos de los vuelos y las actividades. No obstante, el alojamiento y la manutención están cubiertos, ya que los estudiantes se hospedan en los hogares de sus compañeros de intercambio, a quienes posteriormente recibirán en Málaga. Es una experiencia muy enriquecedora que el alumnado disfruta mucho y del que regresan con un gran aprendizaje de idioma, cultura y vida en general.
Intercambios Privados
Sierra Bermeja Secondary School is aware of the relevant role of internationalization in today’s society and sees in it a way to achieve equity and educational success. Consequently, the consolidation of exchanges and mobility abroad has been set as an objective.
We have been working since 2016 to promote student mobility to carry out their internships and to train teachers in European institutions within the framework of Erasmus+. Much progress has been made from the first experience in Germany to already having partners in Ireland, Italy and Portugal. This has been thanks to the involvement of the different education stakeholders. An example of the commitment of the school and the management team towards the internationalization process is the creation of an International Team aimed at coordinating projects at various levels, taking into account the needs and objectives of the school. Therefore, we have given priority to those companies and institutions not only with professional prestige, but also with values and ethical commitment to their workers and to society.
The set objectives and the expected results are consistent with our school’s European Development Project and in the long term will serve to compensate for inequalities in education and to achieve professional improvement that will allow our school to be recognized as a school capable of promoting real social ascent.
Finally, our commitment is also with the foreign institutions to which we offer ourselves so that their students can visit us and help them carry out their internships.
